I Search

I search for love
In you
I seek it
In the deepest corner of who you are
Your soul
I find it abstract, tangling many emotions
The biggest part of it, is your search of who you are

I search for love
At first tone of your voice
I try to capture it in my soul
I pluck every whisper of love
Scrutinize its true thread
I remain unsure in a mass of my search
As I surrender to you
Body and soul
Still seeking your love
I search for it, in a language of intimacy
If I can touch it, in a breath of your manhood
In a scream of first tangled physique
The tangible pain is beyond the comprehend of this soul
Love is unquenched with merely body intimacy
I’m still thirsty for love

I search for love
In ever corner of this earth
Then I return to seek it
On a circle of reflected glow
The cycle of moon
Trying to explore it
Even over its hollow darkness
I find it empty, just like me
Wanting to be a sacred of emotions
Like a moon cycle
Some days a radiant glow
Then there are days I exist in darkness
Little by little
I rebel against this dark emptiness
Absorbing hollowness in crescent glow
Till I merge to be a full moon again

That poem reminds me of the later times when I was so empty though I thought I would have found all in love

Now it is better
Since I go to my councelor
I can speak my sorrows and doubts to him and to God
and I try to overcome bad attitudes

What I still have to learn:

To tell God the DEPTH of my soul

It is a worthy search and a difficult one. Sometimes love feels as if it is ripping a hole in your chest.

Congratulations on your book, "Collective Thoughts". I admire you for preserving the images created by children in sickness, it shows a loyalty and determination to your healing, purpose.

Also, thank you for coming back and visiting.

You express your desire to give and receive love on the highest most sacred plain, so poignantly. I remember that yearning, that feeling of incompleteness. Although knowing intellectually that love cannot be rushed, that didn't help my heavy heart.

Someone special IS out there for your unique love. It is so hard to be patient. This is the first time I read this poem because I had found not found this site of yours until recently.

Ironically, I posted a mixture of thoughts as to why the moon is an integral part of my essence, recently but over a month after your post. I hope you see that post. I've not posted poems i wrote about the moon yet...

SilverMoon (www.SilkenThreads18.blog.com) I just saw you at my other blog and I, too, feel a strong bonding & friendship that transcends language and distance. I've felt that from the instant I read a few lines on your other blog. If you ever come to the USA, I hope you'll contact me!
