Sparks of Women

Dar Al Atta Association holds Sparks of Women, a poetic evening celebrating womanhood and the role of women in community. Coinciding with Women of Color Day which is annually celebrated on achievements of women of color which started in United States and now celebrated internationally on every 1st of March.

The evening will host women poets among them from India Priyanka Sacheti a creative writer and published three volume of poetry based in Muscat and Reem Al lawati, an Omani Poet known by her daring Arabic Poetry, also Nasra Al Adawi will join with English poetry recital, and Jane Jaffer a published novelist will join with her poetic thoughts. More surprises are stored for this evening.

The evening is open to all, the event will start at 6:30 pm on 2nd of March 2008 at Dar Al Atta Association at Madinat Sultan Qaboos, for further information call 24692996
